This study aimed to identify the reality of using e-learning in teaching chemistry at the secondary level during the emerging corona virus (Covid-19) pandemic from the teachers’ point of view in Abha city, and revealing the differences in teachers’ views regarding using e-learning in teaching chemistry at the secondary level, which may due to the scientific qualification and number of years Experience, identifying the obstacles that faced the using e-learning in teaching chemistry at the secondary level, and reaching the most important proposals to achieve more activation for using e-learning in teaching chemistry at the secondary level. The descriptive method was used, and the research sample consisted of (112) teachers, and the researvher prepared a questionnaire consisted of (49) items distributed on three axes. The results showed a high degree of approval on the part of the members of the research sample from the female teachers on the reality of using elearning in teaching chemistry at the secondary stage during the emerging coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic. Diverse learning resources. There were no statistically significant differences in the teachers’ view points regarding the use of e-learning in teaching chemistry at the secondary level due to scientific qualification or the number of years of experience. The degree of approval of female teachers on the obstacles that faced the use of e-learning in teaching chemistry at the secondary level was average, and the most important of these obstacles was the concern of students about taking exams electronically, and the lack of Internet services in some areas, and e-learning was negatively affected by the slow Internet in some places. As for the degree of approval by female teachers on proposals to achieve more activation for the use of elearning in the teaching of chemistry at the secondary stage, it was high, and at the forefront of which was the interest in developing virtual laboratories that could be used in conducting scientific experiments, and updating the content of the curriculum for chemistry at the secondary level to suit the use of e-learning . In light of the research results, some recommendations and proposals were formulated. (Published abstract)
