هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على اتجاهات أولياء أمور الطلبة ذوي الإعاقة الفكرية نحو فاعلية التعليم "عن بعد" المقدم لأبنائهم وبناتهم خلال جائحة كوفيد- 19 من حيث إيجابياته وسلبياته. بلغ عدد المشاركين في هذه الدراسة (368) من أولياء أمور الطلبة ذوي الإعاقة الفكرية بمدينة الرياض. استخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي، وصُممت استبانة خاصة لجمع البيانات تكونت من (27) عبارة قُسمت إلى محورين، المحور الأول لقياس اتجاهات المشاركين نحو إيجابيات التعليم "عن بعد"، والمحور الثاني لقياس اتجاهات المشاركين نحو سلبيات التعليم "عن بعد". كما هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على الفروق بين استجابات المشاركين بحسب متغير الجنس، والعمر، والمؤهل التعليمي، والتدريب المُسبق. توصلت النتائج الحالية إلى أن اتجاهات المشاركين نحو فاعلية التعليم "عن بعد" خلال الجائحة جاءت متوسطة بشكل عام. كما أظهرت النتائج وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين المتوسطات باختلاف متغيري العمر والمؤهل العلمي، بينما تبين عدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا باختلاف متغيري الجنس والتدريب المسبق. The study aimed to identify the attitudes of parents of students with intellectual disability towards the effectiveness of distance learning provided for their children during COVID-19 in terms of advantages and disadvantages. The participants involved (368) parents of students with intellectual disability in Riyadh city. Descriptive approach was used, and a questionnaire was designed to collect data. The questionnaire consisted of (27) statements divided into two sections; distance learning advantages and distance learning disadvantages. The study also aimed to identify the differences between the participants' responses according to the variables of gender, age, educational qualification, and previous training. Findings revealed that the participants' attitudes towards the effectiveness of distance learning provided during the pandemic were moderate in general. In addition, there were statistically significant differences between the participants' means that could be attributed to age and qualification variable, while there were no statistically significant differences that could be ascribed to gender and previous training variables.
