هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على الخصائص السيكومترية لمقاييس بيردو للكشف عن الطلاب الموهوبين، على عينة بلغت (284) من أعضاء هيئة التدريس في كليات التربية ببعض الجامعات السعودية الحكومية، وباستخدام الحزمة الإحصائية للعلوم الاجتماعية (SPSS) لمعالجة البيانات. أظهرت النتائج: دلالات عالية في الصدق لقائمة المقاييس، تراوحت معاملات ارتباط بيرسون للفقرات بين (0.394-1.0)؛ ودرجات تشبع العناصر الرئيسية للمقاييس بين (5.50-8.53)؛ وتراوحت نسب التباين لعناصر المقاييس بين (36.64%-64.06%). كما كشفت النتائج عن دلالات مرتفعة للثبات تراوحت بين (0.83-0.94) بحساب معامل ألفا كرونباخ؛ وعن طريق التجزئة النصفية بين (0.83-0.91). The purpose of study is to identify the psychometric properties of Purdue scales for detecting gifted students, with a sample of (284) from the faculty members of the colleges of education in Saudi universities, the researcher used "Statistical Package for Science (SPSS)" for statistical data processing. The results revealed that scales has a very high validity significance, so person’s correlation coefficients for paragraphs ranging between (10-0.394) and saturation grades of the principal components of scales ranged between (5.50 - 8.53) of variance (%36.64-64.06). In addition, they showed high reliability too. Cronbach's Alpha was reached (0.83 - 0.94), and split-half ranged between (0.83-0.91). (Published abstract)
