هدف هذا البحث إلي تقصي فاعلية الخرائط الذهنية الإلكترونية في تدريس الدراسات الإجتماعيةعلي تنمية التفكير التأملي لدى تلاميذ الصف السادس بالمرحلة المتوسطة بدولة الكويت، وتكونت عينة البحث من (60) تلميذًا من تلاميذ الصف السادس بالمرحلة المتوسطة بإحدي مدارس دولة الكويت.اعتمد هذا البحث على المنهج الوصفي في إعداد الإطار النظري للبحث، ومواده، وأداته، وتحليل النتائج وتفسيرها، وتقديم التوصيات والمُقترحات، والمنهج شبه التجريبي الذي لا يقتصر على مُجرد وصف الظواهر التي يتناولها هذا البحث، وإنما يدرس مُتغيرات هذه الظاهرة، ويقوم علي أساس إجراء تغير مُتعمد وبشروط مُعينة في العوامل التي يُمكن أن تُؤثر في الظاهرة موضوع الدراسة وهي: مهارات التفكير التأملي. تحددت مُشكلة هذا البحث في ضعف وتدني مهارات التفكير التأملي لدي تلاميذ الصف السادس بالمرحلة المتوسطة بدولة الكويت. واد البحث وأداته: أعد الباحث مواد البحث، وأداته التاليين: قائمة بمهارات التفكير التأملي، الخرائط الذهنية الإلكترونية لموضوعات وحدة (دول الخليج العربية تتطور حضارياً وسياسياً)، أوراق عمل التلميذ في موضوعات الوحدة المختارة، كتيب التلميذ، دليل المُعلم، اختبار مهارات التفكير التأملي. توصل الباحث إلي نتائج مؤداها: وجود فرق دال إحصائياً عند مستوى (0.05) بين مُتوسطي درجات درجات تلاميذ مجموعتي البحث في التطبيق البعدي لاختبار التفكير التأملي ككل، وأبعاده، لصالح المجموعة التجريبية. نسبة الكسب لبليك كانت مقبولة بصفة عامة في تنمية مهارات التفكير التأملي. حجم تأثير الاستراتيجية مرتفعاً في مهارات التفكير التأملي، أي أن الاستراتيجية ذات فاعلية في تنمية مهارات التفكير التأملي لدى تلاميذ الصف السادس بالمرحلة المتوسطة بدولة الكويت. وبناء على نتائج البحث أوصي الباحث بضرورة إستخدام إستراتيجية الخرائط الذهنية الإلكترونية في تدريس الدراسات الاجتماعية بالمرحلة المتوسطة، وتدريب معلمي الدراسات الإجتماعية بمدارس المرحلة المتوسطة علي كيفية التدريس بإستخدام إستراتيجية الخرائط الذهنية الإلكترونية، وذلك من خلال عقد دورات تدريبية للمعلمين. The aim of this research is to investigate the effectiveness of electronic mental maps in teaching social studies On the development of contemplative thinking among sixth-grade students in the intermediate stage in the State of Kuwait, and the research sample consisted of (60) students from the sixth-grade students in the intermediate stage in one of the schools in the State of Kuwait. This research relied on the descriptive approach in preparing the theoretical framework for the research, its materials, and tools, analyzing and interpreting the results, presenting recommendations and suggestions, and the quasi-experimental approach, which is not limited to merely describing the phenomena covered by this research, but rather studies the variables of this phenomenon, and is based on the basis for making a deliberate change, under certain conditions, in the factors that can affect the phenomenon under study: the skills of reflective thinking. The problem of this research is identified in the weakness and low reflective thinking skills of sixth graders in the intermediate stage in the State of Kuwait. The researcher prepared the following research materials and tools: List of reflective thinking skills, electronic mental maps for unit topics (the Arab Gulf countries are developing civilly and politically), student worksheets on the selected unit topics, student’s handbook, teacher’s guide, reflective thinking skills test. The researcher reached the following results: 1) There is a statistically significant difference at the level (0.05) between the mean scores of the students of the two research groups in the post application of the reflective thinking test as a whole, and its dimensions, in favor of the experimental group. Blake's gain was generally acceptable in developing reflective thinking skills. 2) The size of the effect of the strategy is high in the reflective thinking skills, that is, the strategy is effective in developing the reflective thinking skills of sixth graders at the intermediate stage in the State of Kuwait. Based on the research results, the researcher recommended the necessity of using the electronic mind mapping strategy in teaching social studies at the intermediate stage, and training social studies teachers in middle school schools on how to teach using the electronic mind mapping strategy, through holding training courses for teachers.
