هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على أهمية دراسة علاقة الألعاب الإلكترونية بالتوافق النفسي والاجتماعي لدى فئة من أكثر المراحل العمرية أهمية وهي مرحلة الطفولة المبكرة. وتعتمد هذه الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي حيث يتناول موضوع الدراسة بالوصف والتحليل، ومعالجته من خلال المصادر المعتمدة وجمع كافة المعلومات. ومن أهم نتائج الدراسة أن تأثير الألعاب الإلكترونية على الصحة النفسية للطفل من الممكن أن تؤدي إلى العديد من الآثار السلبية مثل: انخفاض مستوى الثقة في النفس، والوحدة، وتفضيل العزلة، وانخفاض الأداء الدراسي، وعدم التفاعل مع الآخرين، وعدم القدرة على حل المشكلات، كما أن هناك مخاطر للألعاب الإلكترونية على الأطفال في مرحلة الطفولة المبكرة من حيث دورها في حوادث العنف بأنواعه المختلفة. The spread of computers, video games and the Internet in recent years has led to the emergence of their role clearly in the lives of children, as they are now preferred and accustomed to practicing it to dominate and impose itself on them, so that we can say that it has become part of their daily lifestyle. The study revolves around the importance of studying the relationship of electronic games with psychological and social compatibility among a group of the most. This study relies on important age stages, which is early childhood. The descriptive approach, as it deals with the subject of the study with description and analysis, and its treatment through approved sources and the collection of all information. One of the most important results of the study is that the impact of electronic games on the mental health of the child can lead to many negative effects, such as: low level of self-confidence, loneliness, preference for solitude, low academic performance, lack of interaction with others, and inability to solve problems. That there are dangers of electronic games to children in early childhood in terms of their role in incidents of violence of all kinds. (Published abstract)
