هدف البحث إلى التعرف على واقع تطبيق القيادة الافتراضية في الجامعات السعودية من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس في الأبعاد المستقاة من توجهات المركز الوطني للتعليم الإلكتروني التالية: (السياسات، الاستراتيجيات، توزيع الموارد، التحسين المستمر، الابتكار). ولتحقيق ذلك، تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، و(الاستبانة) كأداة لجمع البيانات، وتم اختيار عينة بلغ عددها (375) عضو هيئة تدريس من الجامعات السعودية لتطبيق الاستبانة عليهم. توصلت نتائج البحث إلى أن موافقة عينة البحث على واقع تطبيق القيادة الافتراضية في الجامعات السعودية من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس في الأبعاد المستقاة من توجهات المركز الوطني للتعليم الإلكتروني، جاءت بدرجة (متوسطة)، وجاء بالترتيب الأول بُعد واقع التحسين المستمر بدرجة (عالية)، وفي الترتيب الثاني بُعد واقع توزيع الموارد بالجامعة، وجاء بُعد واقع الاستراتيجيات بالجامعة بالترتيب الثالث، وكلاهما بدرجة (متوسطة)، وجاء بالترتيب الرابع بُعد واقع السياسات بالجامعة، وبُعد واقع الابتكار بالجامعة بالترتيب الخامس، وكلاهما بدرجة (منخفضة)، كما تبين عدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا في استجابات العينة تعزى لمتغير الرتبة العلمية لجميع الأبعاد، بينما وجدت فروق دالة إحصائيا تعزى لمتغير الجامعة لصالح (الجامعة الإلكترونية). The study aimed to identify the reality of the application of virtual leadership in Saudi universities from the point of view of faculty members in the following dimensions derived from the orientations of the National Center for E-Learning: (strategies, policies, resource distribution, continuous improvement, innovation). To achieve these objectives, the analytical descriptive approach was used, and (questionnaire) as data collection tools. A sample of (375) faculty members from Saudi universities was selected to apply the questionnaire to them. the results of the study reached the following: The approval of the study sample on the reality of applying virtual leadership in Saudi universities from the point of view of faculty members in the dimensions derived from the orientations of the National Center for E-learning came with a (medium) degree. The dimension of the reality of continuous improvement came in the first order, with a (high) degree, while the dimension of the reality of resource distribution in the university came in the second order, and the dimension of the reality of strategies in the university came in the third order, both with a (medium) degree. Fifth, both with a (low) degree, and it was found that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α ≤ 0.05) in the responses of the study sample about the reality of applying virtual leadership in Saudi universities in the light of the orientations of the National Center for E-learning due to the academic rank variable and the all dimensions, while there were statistically significant differences due to the university variable, in favor of the (electronic university) when compared with other universities.
