This study aimed at using infographics to enhance STEM students’ vocabulary retention and visual literacy. The study was conducted in the second term of the academic year 2022-2023 during the "English for STEM2" course. The study adopted quasi-experimental research design. Thirty-nine students enrolled in the 1st year STEM program at Minia Faculty of Education participated in the study and acted as one study group. The instruments of the study included a test for vocabulary retention and a scale of visual literacy. The course consisted of ten sessions, one hour a week through face-to-face instruction. Results showed statistical improvement in the post-measurement of the vocabulary retention test and visual literacy scale. Recommendations and suggestions for further research are presented.
