هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تطوير برامج إعداد معلمي العلوم في الأردن في ضوء التجربة السنغافورية، واتبعت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، فقامت الباحثة بتحليل برامج إعداد معلمي العلوم في الأردن وسنغافورة في ضوء خمسة أبعاد بالاستناد الى الأدب النظري ذي الصلة ببرامج إعداد المعلمين وهي (أهداف برامج إعداد المعلمين، والمؤسسات المعنية بذلك، ثم تخطيط وتنفيذ وتقويم البرامج)، وخلصت الدراسة الى اقتراح رؤية تطويرية لبرامج إعداد المعلم ضمن المعايير الخمسة في ضوء الاستفادة من التجربة السنغافورية. وخلصت النتائج الى أن إعداد المعلمين يعاني العديد من أوجه القصور نتيجة اتباع سياسات تسير في الاتجاه المعاكس لتوجهات وسياسات الدول ذات الأداء الجيد على صعيد نظمها التعليمية. The study aimed to develop science teacher preparation programs in Jordan in the light of the Singaporean experience. The study followed the descriptive analytical approach. So the researcher analyzed science teacher preparation programs in Jordan and Singapore in the light of five dimensions based on theoretical literature related to teacher preparation programs, which are (the objectives of teacher preparation programs, the institutions concerned with that, then planning, implementing and evaluating the programs). The study concluded with proposing a developmental vision for teacher preparation programs within the five criteria in the light of benefiting from the Singaporean experience. The results concluded that the preparation of teachers suffers from many shortcomings as a result of adopting policies that go in the opposite direction to the orientations and policies of countries with good performance in terms of their educational systems.
