هدفت الدراسة إلى الكشف عن أهم التحديات التي تواجه مديرات مدارس الطفولة المبكرة، والعمل على اقتراح حلول لهذه التحديات. تم استخدام منهج البحث النوعي لجمع البيانات وتحليلها القائمة على المقابلات شبه المقننة والتي أجريت مع 12 مديرة بمدارس الطفولة المبكرة بإدارة تعليم جدة، ومن خلال تحليل المقابلات شبه المقننة تبين وجود تحديات تتعلق بالإدارة من أهمها قلة توفر المديرات المؤهلات لهذه المرحلة، وتحديات تتعلق بالبيئة المدرسية ومنها قلة ملاءمة المباني المدرسية لاحتياجات هذه المرحلة، وتحديات تتعلق بالمعلمات، ومن بينها نقص الكادر المتخصص والمؤهل لهذه المرحلة وتحديات تقنية مثل ضعف إعداد البنية التقنية بهذه المدارس، وفي إطار ذلك قدمت الدراسة مجموعة من الحلول المقترحة لهذه التحديات من أهمها ضرورة اختيار مديرات ووكيلات ذوات خبرة في إدارة المدارس، وتأهيلهن لإدارة مدارس الطفولة المبكرة، وتوفير معلمات متخصصات علميا وتطبيقيا لديهم القدرة على التعامل مع طلبة مدراس الطفولة المبكرة، وتوفير الأجهزة التقنية والوسائل التعليمية المعينة في العملية التعليمية. The aim of the study was to identify the main challenges faced by female principles of early childhood schools and suggest solutions to these challenges, using a qualitative approach to collect and analyze data based on semi-structured interviews conducted with 12 school principals, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Through analysis of the interviews, it was revealed that there challenges related to management, the most important of which was the lack of qualified principals for this stage, challenges related to the school environment, the most important of which was the lack of suitability of school buildings for the needs of this stage, challenges related to teachers, the most important of which was the lack of specialized and qualified staff for this stage and technical challenges such as the weak preparation of the technical infrastructure in these schools. In the context of that the study was presented several suggestions were provided to address these challenges, among the most important of them were the need to select experienced principals, and qualify them to manage early childhood schools, Providing specialized teachers able to deal with early childhood school children, and the provision of technical devices and teaching aids in the educational process.
