This study aimed to identify the level of educational competencies of public school teachers in the Directorate of Education of the Southern Shouneh District, and the descriptive approach was followed. Evaluation, teaching competencies, classroom management competencies, communication competencies, and electronic competencies) were distributed to a sample of (259) selected from the study population by random method. While the teaching competencies, evaluation, and electronic competencies came to a medium degree, and the results showed that there were statistically significant differences in the level of competencies among teachers due to the variables of gender, experience and academic qualification. The study made several recommendations, including: preparing a guide to the educational competencies necessary for the teaching profession, holding an ICDL course, the International Computer Driving License, for public school teachers, and succeeding in all its requirements, and it is binding on them, and other recommendations.
