The degree to which secondary school principals in the directorate of education in Qweismeh district possess time management skill from their point of view [Article]
This study aimed to identify the degree to which secondary school principals in the Directorate of Education in Qweismeh District possess time management skill from their point of view, and to determine the impact of gender, experience, and educational qualification variables on the availability of time management skill through the responses of government secondary school principals in Qweismeh District. The researcher relied on the descriptive approach to conduct the study for its relevance, the nature of the study and its objectives, as it is concerned with the degree to which school principals possess the skill of time management. The results showed that the degree to which secondary school principals in the Directorate of Education in the Qweismeh District possessed the skill of time management from their point of view at a medium degree, and that the arithmetic mean of the degree to which they possessed the skill of time management was with an arithmetic mean of (2.78) and a standard deviation of (.471). The results of the study also showed that there were statistically significant differences in the degree to which secondary school principals in the Qweismeh district possessed the skill of time management from their point of view due to the gender variable, where the statistical significance was < 0.05, which is statistically significant and there were no statistically significant differences in the degree of possession of the principals of secondary schools from their point of view. The secondary school in Qweismeh district for the skill of time management from their point of view attributed to the variable of academic qualification, where the statistical significance was > 0.05, which is a non- statistically significant function. It is attributed to the variable years of service, where the statistical significance was < 0.05, which is statistically significant The researcher recommended those in charge of the educational administration in the Ministry of Education in Jordan to hold specialized training courses to provide school administrators with time management skills and ways of organizing time and setting priorities related to goals during school management processes.
