Whether it was linguistic, cultural, psychological, technical, or even educational. Suggesting some strategic approaches to these challenges. The problem of the research is represented in the following questions: 1) What are the linguistic challenges that face teaching the Arabic language to non-native speakers in the light of the modern developments? 2) What are the cultural challenges that face teaching The Arabic language to non-native speakers in the light of the modern developments? 3) What are the psychological challenges that face teaching The Arabic language to non-native speakers in the light of the modern developments? 4) What are the technical challenges that face teaching The Arabic language to non-native speakers in the light of the modern developments? 5) What are the educational challenges that face teaching The Arabic language to non-native speakers in the light of the modern developments? 6) What are the best suggestions we should use to handle the challenges for teaching Arabic to non-native speakers? The study result and recommendation: 1) Identify the challenges that face teaching the Arabic language to non-native speakers in the light of the modern developments; i.e. the linguistic, cultural, psychological, technical, and the educational ones. 2) The importance on focusing on the popular communicative language, and trying to fill the gap between the Modern Standard Arabic language and the street spoken dialect. 3) The necessity of establishing intersections of cultures between the Mother language of the learners, and the targeted language they are aiming to learn. 4) Providing certain mechanisms to teach the Arabic language, and relying on teaching through applying tasks rather than applying grammars. 5) The necessity of publishing the Arabic language internationally. 6) Providing suggestions to face the challenges of teaching Arabic to non-native speakers.
