هدف البحث إلى تسليط الضوء على مؤشرات توجه برامج التدريب الصيفي للمعهد الوطني للتطوير المهني التعليمي بالمملكة العربية السعودية نحو تنمية مهارات معلم القرن الحادي والعشرين، استخدم الباحثان المنهج الوصفي، وقد توصل البحث إلى العديد من النتائج، أهمها: هناك اهتمام بمهارات القرن الحادي والعشرين وضرورة تزويد المعلمين بها، وأن المهارات الحياتية والوظيفية حصلت على أعلى نسبة تغطية من برامج التدريب الصيفي، تلتها مهارات تكنولوجيات المعلومات، وأخيرًا مهارات التعلم والابتكار في كلتا المنطقتين، وأن المعهد الوطني قدَم (252) برنامجًا تدريبيا صيفيا للمعلمين والمعلمات في منطقة عسير، ووجد قصورا في تغطية مهارة التعلّم والابتكار، حيث لم تتجاوز نسبة تغطية هذه المهارة (05,55%) من البرامج المقدمة في منطقة عسير، وقدّم المعهد الوطني (169) برنامجا تدريبيا صيفيا للمعلمين والمعلمات في منطقة جازان، كما كشفت النتائج عن وجود قصور في تغطية مهارة التعلّم والابتكار، حيث لم تتجاوز نسبة تغطية هذه المهارة (09,46 %) من البرامج المقدمة في منطقة جازان، ويتضح وجود تفاوت كبير في نسب تغطية البرامج التدريبية لمهارات معلم القرن الحادي والعشرين. وقد أوصى البحث بتحديد الاحتياجات التدريبية اللازمة للمعلمين والمعلمات في ضوء مهارات معلم القرن الحادي والعشرين، وتحقيق التوازن في تقديم برامج التدريب الصيفي لتغطية مهارات معلم القرن الحادي والعشرين وملاءمتها. The aim of the research is to shed light on indicators that direct the summer training programs of the National Institute for Professional and Educational Development, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, towards developing the skills of the twenty-first century teacher. The researchers used the descriptive approach, and the research reached many results, the most important of which are: There is interest in the skills of the twenty-first century teacher. The twenty-first century, and the need to provide teachers with them, and that life and job skills received the highest coverage rate from summer training programs, followed by information technology skills, and finally learning and innovation skills in both regions, and that the National Institute offered (252) summer training programs for teachers, In the Asir region, and there was a deficiency in covering the skill of learning and innovation, as the percentage of coverage of this skill did not exceed (05.55%) of the programs offered in the Asir region, and the National Institute provided (169) summer training programs for teachers in the Jazan region, as revealed. The results showed a deficiency in the coverage of the skill of learning and innovation, as the percentage of coverage of this skill did not exceed (09.46%) of the programs presented in the Jizan region, and it is evident that there is a large discrepancy in the coverage rates of training programs.
