جاءت هذه الدراسة الميدانية لتناول بمظهر من مظاهر العنف ضد الأطفال وهو: فعل الضرب والعقاب المدرسي، بهدف الكشف على كيفية معاملة المعلمين للتلاميذ. وذلك من خلال جملة من المقابلات مع كل من التلاميذ والمعلمين داخل المؤسسات الابتدائية، وقد خلصت الدراسة إلى عدة نتائج أهمها أن المعلمين يستخدمون أسلوب العقاب البدني بكثرة مع المتعلمين مما كوّن لديهم اتجاهات سلبية نحو مهنة المعلم، وهم يرجعون السبب في ذلك الى ظروفهم المعيشية وظروف عملهم. This field study was designed to address the phenomenon of violence against children: beatings and school punishments, in order to reveal how teachers treat pupils. Through a series of interviews with each of the pupils and teachers in the primary establishments. The study found some results, the most important of which is that the teachers use the method of physical punishment with many pupils, which have negative attitudes towards the profession of the teacher and they attributed the reason to their living conditions and working conditions.
