هدفت الدراسة إلى معرفة الواقع الفعلي لتداول المعلومات إلكترونيا باستخدام شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي بين طلبة قسم المكتبات في كلية التربية الأساسية بالهيئة العامة للتعليم التطبيقي والتدريب في دولة الكويت. كما هدفت الكشف عن مدى قيام الطلبة والطالبات بعمليات التداول الإلكتروني لكافة أنواع وأشكال المعلومات والبيانات من خلال مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي المتوفرة لغالبية أفراد المجتمع. ركزت الدراسة الكشف عن الأثار الإيجابية والسلبية التي قد تنتج من استخدام هذه المواقع. استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي للبيانات الواردة من المصادر الأولية والثانوية وتحليل هذه البيانات ودرجة ارتباطها للوصول إلى هدف هذه الدراسة. أشارت نتائج هذه الدراسة إلى أن استخدام شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي يعمل على تعزيز الصداقات والتواصل وزيادة الانفتاح الفكري والتبادل الثقافي والأكاديمي وتنمية المواهب عند توظيفها في التعليم الجامعي، مع ضرورة توفير برامج تثقيفية تزيد من المعرفة بالجوانب الإيجابية، وكذلك توفير البنية التحتية المناسبة ليتمكن الطلبة من استخدام هذه المواقع بالصورة الصحيحة الآمنة. انتهت الدراسة إلى تقديم مجموعة من التوصيات التي يمكن من خلالها زيادة إمكانية توظيف مواقع التواصل الإلكتروني بالطريقة الجيدة والتي تساهم في خدمة العملية التعليمية. The emergence of social networks at the end of this century paved the way for all societies to transmit news and information and exchange opinions and ideas. Although there are disadvantages and advantages to these systems, it was widely used, especially among university students, as it was widely used to promote and develop a better academic life for them. Education is considered one of the most important sectors on which contemporary societies depend in order to provide the human force capable of developing and developing the state, advancing it and achieving its stability. This study aimed to know the actual reality of electronic information exchange using social networks among students of the Library Department at the College of Basic Education at the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training in the State of Kuwait. This study also aimed to reveal the extent to which male and female students engage in electronic trading of all types and forms of information and data through social networking sites available to the majority of society members. The study focused on detecting the positive and negative effects that may result from the use of these sites. The researcher used the descriptive analytical approach to the data received from the primary and secondary sources and analyzed these data and the degree of their relevance to reach the goal of this study. The results of this study indicated that the use of social networks enhances friendships and communication, increases intellectual openness, cultural and academic exchange, and develops talents when employed in university education, with the need to provide educational programs that increase knowledge of the positive aspects, as well as provide the appropriate infrastructure to enable students to use these sites. In the correct and safe way, and the study ended with providing a set of recommendations through which it is possible to increase the possibility of employing electronic communication sites in a good way that contributes to the service of the educational process.
