هدف البحث إلى تقديم رؤية تربوية مقترحة لتعزيز الهوية الوطنية في ضوء بعض الخبرات العالمية، وتم بناء الرؤية التربوية في ضوء خبرة الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، وخبرة المملكة المتحدة، وخبرة فرنسا، وخبرة الإمارات العربية المتحدة في تعزيز الهوية الوطنية، التي دعمت الرؤية الحالية في محاورها الأربعة المتمثلة في فلسفة تربوية جديدة تستند إلى طبيعة المجتمع السعودي؛ فهو مجتمع له عقيدته وعاداته وثقافته وأفكاره وطموحاته ومشكلاته، التي اكتسبها عبر تاريخه الطويل، وسياسة تعليمية جديدة تنطلق من ثلاثة مفاهيم أساسية: المسئولية الاجتماعية والأخلاقية، والمشاركة المجتمعية والتعليم السياسي، ومحتوى مناهج وأنشطة تعزز الهوية الوطنية ببناء منظومة مناهج تتضمن وضع بناء تعليمي، يعتمد على المواد الإسلامية، واللغة العربية، والتاريخ الثقافي للمملكة العربية السعودية، وطرق تدريس تعزز الهوية الوطنية تضمن التعايش مع الطالب وجدانيا، حتى يتمكن من نقل الاتجاهات والقيم التي يتبناها إلى المتعلم، وتعزز الهوية الوطنية من خلال بناء ثقافة الحوار المتبادل وتشجيع الطالب على التعبير عن هويته وثقافته الوطنية بطلاقة. The study aimed at providing a proposed educational vision for fostering national identity in light of some global experiences. This educational vision was built in light of the experiences of fostering cultural identity within the United States of America, the United Kingdom, France, and the United Arab Emirates. Therefore, the current vision was supported by its four dimensions. It represents a modern educational philosophy based on the nature of the Saudi community. Indeed, our community has its doctrine, customs, culture, ideologies, ambitions, and problems constructed across its very long history Additionally, the proposed vision represents a modern educational policy based on three main concepts: social and ethical responsibility, social engagement, and political education. It includes content and activities aiming at fostering national identity through creating a system of curricula depending on the Islamic subjects, The Arabic language, and the cultural history of the kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The methods by which national identity taught include the teachers dealing with the learner emotionally to transfer the targeted attitudes and values he/she adopts, building a culture of mutual dialogue, and encouraging the learner to express his/her national identity and culture frankly.
