هدفت الدراسة إلى الوقوف على درجة (أهمية - توفر) أبعاد المسؤولية المجتمعية للمدارس الثانوية بمنطقة جازان التعليمية من وجهة نظر العاملين بها وبناء تصور مقترح للمسؤولية المجتمعية بها في ضوء واقعها ورؤية المملكة. ولتحقيق هذا الهدف اعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي للتعرف على أبعاد المسؤولية المجتمعية في الأدب النظري المعاصر والكشف عن واقع المسؤولية المجتمعية بالمدارس الثانوية بمنطقة جازان، واستخدمت الدراسة الاستبانة كأداة لجمع البيانات والمعلومات اللازمة حيث طبقت الدراسة الميدانية على (391) مفردة. وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين أفراد عينة الدراسة وفقا للمتغيرات المختلفة على مستوى مجموع أبعاد المسؤولية المجتمعية في كل من الممارسة والأهمية والفجوة سوى في درجات ممارسة أبعاد المسؤولية المجتمعية بحسب متغير الوظيفة (مدير، مشرف تربوي، مرشد طلابي، وكيل، إداري). وقد أظهرت نتائج الدراسة ضعف ممارسة أبعاد المسؤولية المجتمعية (الإداري والإجرائي، المجتمعي، البيئي والصحي، الأخلاقي والقيمي، الوطني والانتمائي، المعرفي والتربوي) بشكل عام، وأظهرت النتائج الأهمية الكبيرة لكافة الأبعاد. The study aimed at identifying the degree of the significance and availability of social responsibility of high schools within Jazan educational district from the employees' perspective. It also attempted to provide a proposed vision for social responsibility within these schools in the light of their reality and the Kingdom' vision 2030. To achieve the aforementioned objectives, the study adopted the descriptive method so as to investigate the dimensions of social responsibility in the contemporary theoretical literature as well as identify the reality of social responsibility at high schools within Jazan district. A questionnaire was administered for collecting the necessary data. The field study was conducted on (391) subjects. Results indicated that there were no statistically significant differences among the employee participants attributed to the different utilized variables on total score of social responsibility (practice - significance - gap), except for the degree of practicing social responsibility in terms of the job nature (headmaster - educational supervisor - student counselor - vice principal - administrative officer). Practicing the various social responsibility dimensions (administrative - procedural - societal - environmental - healthy - moral - national - affiliated - cognitive - educational) was generally weak. Results also showed the high-level significance of all social responsibility dimensions. (Published abstract)
