يهدف البحث إلى التعرف على مستوى الطفو الأكاديمي والكفاءة العاطفية لدى طلبة الجامعة. ومعرفة الفروق ذات الدلالة الإحصائية في مستوى الطفو الأكاديمي لدى طلبة الجامعة تبعا لمتغيري الجنس والتخصص. معرفة الفروق ذات الدلالة الإحصائية في مستوى الكفاءة العاطفية لدى طلبة الجامعة تبعا لمتغيري الجنس والتخصص. العلاقة الارتباطية بين الطفو الأكاديمي والكفاءة العاطفية لدى طلبة الجامعة. ولتحقيق أهداف البحث قام الباحث بإعداد مقياس الطفو الأكاديمي وتبني مقياس الكفاءة العاطفية، وباستعمال الوسائل الإحصائية الآتية (مربع كاي، الاختبار التائي لعينة واحدة، الاختبار التائي لعينتين مستقلتين). وتضمنت عينة الدراسة (300) طالب وطالبة. أظهرت نتائج الدراسة ما يأتي: تتمتع عينة البحث بمستوى من الطفو الأكاديمي والكفاءة العاطفية، وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية للطفو الأكاديمي تبعا لمتغير الجنس (ذكور، إناث)، ولصالح الذكور، وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية للطفو الأكاديمي تبعا لمتغير التخصص (إنساني، علمي)، ولصالح التخصص العلمي، وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية للكفاءة العاطفية تبعا لمتغير الجنس (ذكور، إناث)، ولصالح الإناث. وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية للمثابرة تبعا لمتغير التخصص (علمي، إنساني)، ولصالح التخصص العلمي، وجود علاقة إيجابية بين الطفو الأكاديمي والكفاءة العاطفية. The aim of The research is to identify the level of academic buoyancy and the cognitive efficiency of university students. Also, it aims at knowing the statistically significant differences in the level of academic buoyancy among university students according to the variables of gender and specialization and knowing the statistically significant differences in the level of emotional competence among university students according to the variables of gender and specialization. The direction and strength of the relationship between academic buoyancy and emotional competence among university students. To achieve the objectives of the research, the researcher prepared the academic buoyancy items and adopted the emotional competence items, using the following statistical methods (T-square; t- test for one sample; t-test for two independent samples; Pearson correlation coefficient). The sample of the research consisted of (300) male and female students. The results of the study showed the following: the research sample has a level of academic buoyancy and emotional competence, and there are statistically significant differences for school discipline according to the gender variable (males, females), and in favor of males. Also, there are statistically significant differences for school discipline according to them. (Published abstract)
