تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى معرفة القيم الثقافية التي تضمنتها كتب لغتي الجميلة، ومدى تحقيقها للسياسة التربوية التعليمية في المملكة العربية السعودية، كما تهدف إلى معرفة مدى توافق المحتوى الثقافي لنصوص كتاب لغتي الجميلة مع واقع المجتمع السعودي وعناصر الهوية فيه. وتتبع هذه الدراسة منهج تحليل المحتوى الذي يستخدم في تحليل ما تحتويه الكتب من أفكار وقيم ثقافية. وقد أظهرت نتائج الدراسة تحقيق المحتوى الثقافي لكتاب لغتي الجميلة لأهداف السياسة التعليمية في المملكة العربية السعودية، وتوافقه مع واقع المجتمع السعودي. The text book is one of the most important elements of the educational curriculum as it represents the applied dimension of curriculum. Therefore, it is important to pay great attention to text books in terms of development and upgrading in order to keep abreast of the social and cultural changes in society. Proceeding from the importance of culture for society and its role in shaping its social, political and economic themes, as well as the significance the schoolbooks in representation of these cultural dimensions, especially in Arabic language text books in primary education, this study was conducted to address the cultural content of Loghati Aljamila text book for high grades of Primary School in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This study aims to discover the cultural values contained in Loghati Aljamila text book, and how far they achieve the Saudi educational policy, as well as how far cultural content of Loghati Aljamila text books texts are in consistency with the reality of Saudi society and its identity elements. This study adopts the content analysis approach that is used to analyze cultural ideas and values contained in Loghati Aljamila Schoolbook. The outcomes of the study indicated the cultural content of Loghati Aljamila text book realizes the objectives of educational policy in Saudi Arabia, and is in line with the reality of Saudi society.
