هدف البحث إلى تعرف جودة الحياة لدى أمهات الأطفال ذوي اضطراب طيف التوحد وفق بعض المتغيرات (درجة الإضطراب، ترتيب الطفل، المؤهل العلمي للأم)، في بعض المراكز في مدينة دمشق، وقد شملت عينة البحث (40) أماً من أمهات الأطفال ذوي إضطراب طيف التوحد، ولتحقيق هدف البحث تم إستخدام مقياس جودة الحياة: إعداد منظمة الصحة العالمية، أما نتائج البحث فقد كانت على النحو التالي: مستوى الجودة لدى أمهات أطفال اضطراب طيف التوحد كان متوسطا، ووجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات درجات أفراد عينة البحث على المقياس تبعا لمتغير درجة الاضطراب لصالح أمهات أطفال إضطراب طيف التوحد ذوي الدرجة البسيطة، ووجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات درجات أفراد عينة البحث على المقياس تبعا لمتغير ترتيب الطفل، وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات درجات أفراد عينة البحث على المقياس تبعا لمتغير المؤهل العلمي لصالح المؤهل العلمي الأعلى. The research aims to identify the quality of life of mothers of children with autism spectrum disorder, and according to some variables (degree of autism disorder, child’s rank, and mother’s academic qualifications), in some centers in Damascus City. The research sample included (40) mothers of children with autism spectrum disorder. To achieve the research objectives, The Quality-of-Life Scale was used. It was prepared by the World Health Organization. The results of the search were as follows: The Level of Quality of Life among mothers of children with autism spectrum disorder was average, there were statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the research sample members on the scale according to the variable of degree of disorder, in favor of mothers of children with autism spectrum disorder with a mild degree.In addition,there were statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the research sample members on the scale according to the child’s ranking variable, there were statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the research sample members on the scale according to the academic qualification variable and in favor of the higher academic qualification.
