هدفت الدراسة إلى الكشف عن إدراك الطفل المعاق عقليا القابل للتعلم للقبول والرفض الوالدي، وعلاقته بمشكلاته السلوكية، في ضوء متغير الجنس، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (58) طفل معاق عقليا من الجنسين، ملتحقين بعدد (7) مدارس من مدارس الدمج بمحافظة الجيزة، وقد تم اختيار هؤلاء الأطفال بطريقة عشوائية، وأعمارهم (7-13) سنة، ومتوسط درجة ذكاء (55-70)، وقد روعي تجانس العينة في المستوى الاجتماعي الاقتصادي الثقافي، وفقا للسجلات الخاصة بالأطفال بالمدارس التي ينتمون لها، وقام الباحث بإعداد مقياس القبول/الرفض الوالدي كما يدركه الأطفال المعاقين عقليا القابلين للتعلم، ومقياس المشكلات السلوكية للأطفال المعاقين عقليا القابلين للتعلم، وأسفرت النتائج عن وجود علاقة ارتباطية سالبة بين القبول الوالدي والمشكلات السلوكية للأطفال المعاقين عقليا القابلين للتعلم الذكور والإناث، ووجود علاقة ارتباطية موجبة بين درجة إدراك الأطفال المعاقين عقليا القابلين للتعلم الذكور والإناث للرفض الوالدي والمشكلات السلوكية، كما أنه لا توجد فروق دالة بين الأطفال المعاقين عقليا القابلين للتعلم (ذكور - إناث) في إدراكهم للقبول/الرفض الوالدي، وعدم وجود فروق دالة بين الأطفال المعاقين عقليا القابلين للتعلم (ذكور- إناث) في المشكلات السلوكية. The study aimed to reveal the teachable mentally disabled child’s awareness of parental acceptance and rejection, and its relationship to his behavioral problems, in light of the gender variable. The study sample consisted of (58) mentally disabled children of both sexes, enrolled in (7) integration schools in Giza Governorate. These children were chosen randomly. Their ages were (7-13) years, and their average IQ was (55-70). The homogeneity of the sample was taken into account at the socio-economic and cultural level, according to the records of the children in the schools to which they belong. The researcher prepared an acceptance/ rejection scale. Parents as perceived by teachable mentally disabled children, and a measure of behavioral problems for teachable mentally disabled children. The results revealed a negative correlation between parental acceptance and behavioral problems for teachable mentally disabled children, males and females, and a positive correlation between the degree of perception of teachable mentally disabled children. Males and females for parental rejection and behavioral problems. There are also no significant differences between teachable mentally disabled children (males - females) in their perception of parental acceptance/rejection, and no significant differences between teachable mentally disabled children (males - females) in behavioral problems.
