The study aimed to identify the extent of developing the Arabic language teacher preparation system in the light of contemporary trends from the viewpoint of Arabic language teachers in government schools in the State of Kuwait in the light of some variables. The study sample consisted of (312) male and female teachers of Arabic language teachers in government schools in the State of Kuwait, and the study used the descriptive analytical approach, and for that the researcher developed a measure to develop the system of preparing the Arabic language teacher in the light of contemporary trends from the viewpoint of Arabic language teachers in Governmental schools in the State of Kuwait, and the results of the study indicated that contemporary trends in preparing an Arabic language teacher are based on competencies, skills, systems, and on the basis of models, education technology, and standards, and contemporary trends play a fundamental role in achieving the demands of preparing teachers The language is Arabic for pre-service and during service, and contemporary trends play a fundamental role in achieving the demands of preparing language teachers for Arabic before service and during service. The study recommended the necessity of working from decision-makers and those in charge of preparing laboratories during pre-service, and during service following contemporary trends, to become more comprehensive, and that goes beyond traditional teaching skills.
