This paper explores the conceptual dimension of metaphor with the aim of utilizing it in ways that enable learners to understand the world, grasp meanings, foster critical thinking, and enhance creativity. It also seeks to empower educators to promote values and develop skills in thinking, critique, and creativity, especially given the shortcomings of traditional pedagogical approaches in delivering content effectively. The central question that frames this topic is: "How can conceptual metaphor help educators enrich educational theories, promote values, develop skills, and encourage critical and creative thinking? This article aims to investigate the foundational links between conceptual metaphor and education through a descriptive and analytical approach. It draws on leading rhetorical projects and focuses on key ideas and theories to assess their potential impact on understanding how cognitive rhetoric influences the educational process. Conclusion: Conceptual metaphor enables learners to better understand the world, perceive meaning, and strengthen critical thinking and creativity. It also equips educators to promote values and enhance thinking and creative skills. This is achieved by focusing on the quality of learning rather than the quantity, thereby fulfilling competencies and goals while nurturing intellectual abilities. (Published abstract)
