هدفت الدراسة الحالية التعرف إلى دور مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي في تشكيل الوعي السياسي لطلبة الجامعات، حالة دراسية: جامعة مؤتة وأثر جائحة كورونا للفصل الدراسي الأول 2020-2021، والكشف عن الفروق في تشكيل الوعي السياسي في ضوء متغيرات الجنس، العمر، الحالة الاجتماعية، الجنسية، السنة الدراسية، عدد سنوات الخبرة. تكونت عينة الدراسة من (30) طالباً وطالبةً من طلبة جامعة مؤتة، تم اختيارهم بالطريقة المتيسرة. ولتحقيق هدف الدراسة، تم استخدام الاستبانة. أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن مستوى دور مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي في تشكيل الوعي السياسي لطلبة جامعة مؤتة كان مرتفعاً. كما أظهرت النتائج عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية دور مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي في تشكيل الوعي السياسي لطلبة في جامعة مؤتة خلال جائحة كورونا وفي ضوء النتائج التي توصلت إليها الدراسة، قدم الباحث مجموعة من التوصيات. This study aimed to identify the role of social media in forming political awareness of university students, a case study: University of Mu'tah and the impact of the Corona pandemic for the first semester 2020-2021, and to reveal the differences in forming political awareness in light of the variables of gender, age, marital status, nationality, academic year, Years of Experience. The sample of the study consisted of (30) male and female students from the University of Mu'tah, who were chosen by the available method. To achieve the aim of the study, a questionnaire was used. The results of the study showed that the level of the role of social media in shaping the political awareness of Mu'tah University students was high. The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the role of social media in forming the political awareness of students at the University of Mu'tah during the Corona pandemic. In light of the findings of the study, the researcher presented a set of recommendations. (Published abstract)
