هدف البحث إلى التعرف على واقع التربية المهنية في مدارس التعليم العام السعودي في ضوء رؤية 2030، واستخدم منهج البحث الوصفي المسحي، وصُمّمت استبانة مكونة من ثلاثة محاور، طُبقتْ على مجتمع البحث المتمثل في إدارات التعليم بمكة وجدة والطائف، وتم اختيار عينة عنقودية من قادة المدارس، والمرشدين الطلابيين، ورواد النشاط، واستخدم التكرارات، واختبار تحليل التباين الأحادي، ومعاملي ارتباط بيرسون وتوصلت نتائج البحث إلى: 1) ضعف التربية المهنية في مدارس التعليم العام السعودي. 2) تواجه التربية المهنية في مدارس التعليم العام السعودي عدد من الصعوبات. 3) الحلول الممكنة للصعوبات التي تواجه التربية المهنية في مدارس التعليم العام السعودي ذات أهمية كبيرة جدا. وفي ضوء النتائج أوصى الباحث بمجموعة من التوصيات والمقترحات. This research aimed to identify the reality of vocational Education in Saudi public schools in the light of the Saudi vision 2030. The researcher used the descriptive method. To achieve the aim of the research, the researcher designed a questionnaire consisted of three areas and it has been applied in three departments of education (Mecca, Jeddah and Taif). The sample of the research was selected randomly by using cluster samples of school leaders, student advisors, and the coordinator of the activities. The results have been analyzed by using the following statistical methods: frequencies, one way-analysis of variance and Pearson correlation coefficient. After making the statistical analyses, the research came to the following results: 1) Weakness of the vocational education in Saudi public schools. 2) Many Difficulties facing vocational education in the Saudi public schools. 3) Possible solutions to the difficulties facing vocational education in the Saudi public schools are of great importance. In the light of these results, the researcher recommended and suggested more studies. (Published abstract)
