هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على مهارات التفكير الابتكاري ومدى تضمينها في كتاب العلوم للصف الأول المتوسط، وتكون مجتمع الدراسة من جميع الموضوعات المطروحة بكتاب العلوم للصف الأول المتوسط، وإشتملت عينة الدراسة على مجتمع البحث كاملا، واعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي كمنهج للدراسة، واستخدمت بطاقة تحليل المحتوى كأداة للدراسة، وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى أن قائمة المهارات الأساسية للتفكير الإبتكاري تتكون من (الطلاقة، والمرونة، والأصالة، والتوسع في المعرفة)، كما تبين أن نسبة تضمين مهارات التفكير الابتكاري في كتاب العلوم للصف الأول المتوسط تتراوح بين 21.1% و29.4%، حيث جاءت مهارة الطلاقة بنسبة 29.4%، والتوسع في المعرفة بنسبة 27.7%، والمرونة بنسبة 21.1%.، وأوصت الدراسة بطرح أسئلة تشجع على طرح أفكار متعددة وحلول مبتكرة، بدلا من الأسئلة التي تتطلب إجابة واحدة صحيحة. The study aimed to identify innovative thinking skills and the extent of their availability in the science textbooks for first intermediate-grade students. Study sample included the entire research community. The study relied on the descriptive analytical approach as a study method, and it used the content analysis card as a study tool. The study concluded that the list of basic skills for innovative thinking (fluency, flexibility, originality, and expansion of knowledge). It showed that the availability of innovative thinking skills in first intermediate science books ranges from 21.1% to 29.4%, with fluency skills at 29.4%, knowledge expansion at 27.7%, and flexibility at 21.1%. The study recommended asking questions that help in suggesting multiple ideas and innovative solutions instead of questions that require one correct answer. (Published abstract)
