هدفت الدراسة إلى الكشف عن مستوى الشعور بالأمن النفسي لدى طلبة جامعة السلطان قابوس. تكونت عينة الدراسة من (972) طالبا وطالبة من طلبة المرحلة الجامعية الأولى بجامعة السلطان قابوس مسجلين في الفصل الدراسي خريف 2022، ولما كانت الحاجة إلى الأمن والانتماء تأتي ضمن الحاجات التي تلي الحاجات الفسيولوجية أهمية؛ فإن الحصول على المنشود من مستوى الأمن والطمأنينة لدى الأفراد أصبح واجبا ومسؤولية من واجبات الأفراد والمجتمعات. اختيرت عينة الدراسة بالطريقة المتيسرة، وطبقت أداة الدراسة (مقياس الأمن النفسي) على عينة الدراسة، ومن ثم استخدمت الحزم الإحصائية SPSS في تحليل نتائج الدراسة. أظهرت النتائج وجود مستوى متوسط للأمن النفسي لدى طلبة جامعة السلطان قابوس، وعدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطي رتب درجات الذكور والإناث من طلبة جامعة السلطان قابوس في مستوى الأمن النفسي بوجهٍ عام؛ إذ بلغت قيمة (Z= -0.108) بمستوى دلالة 0.914، وكذلك عدمَ وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في الأمن النفسي بوجه عام بين طلبة الكليات الإنسانية وطلبة الكليات العلمية في جامعة السلطان قابوس؛ فقد بلغت قيمة (Z= -0.436) بمستوى دلالة 0.663. أوصت الدراسة بتحقيق الأمن النفسي في المجتمع، من خلال معرفة أكثر المواضع التي يفتقد فيها المستجيب الأمن النفسي، ومحاولة إصلاحها، وإجراء المزيد من الدراسات التي تكشف عن العلاقة بين الأمن النفسي وبعض المتغيرات الأكاديمية. This study aimed to reveal the level of psychological security among students of Sultan Qaboos University. The sample of the study consisted of (972) male and female undergraduate students at Sultan Qaboos University enrolled in the fall semester 2022. The study sample was selected using the available method, and a tool was applied. The tool (psychological security measure) was applied on the study sample, then, SPSS statistical packages were used to analyze the results of the study, and the results showed an average level of psychological security among Sultan Qaboos University students, and the absence of statistically significant differences between the average ranks of male and female degrees of Sultan Qaboos University students in the level of psychological security in general, as the value of (Z = -0.108) was at the level of significance 0.914, as well as the absence of statistically significant differences in psychological security in general among college students of Humanities and of scientific colleges at Sultan Qaboos University, where the value of (Z = -0.436) was with a significance level of 0.663. The study recommended achieving psychological security in society through identifying and recovering the areas where the respondents lack psychological security the most and conducting more studies that show the relationship between psychological security and other relevant variables. The study recommended achieving psychological security in society, by knowing the places where the respondent lacks psychological security the most, trying to fix them, and conducting more studies that reveal the relationship between psychological security and some academic variables.
