هدفت الدراسة إلى معرفة التحديات التي تواجه التعليم في قطاع رياض الأطفال، والسياسات المتبعة لمواجهتها. تكونت عينة الدراسة من (155) معلمة جرى اختيارهن بطريقة عشوائية من العاملات في مؤسسات رياض الأطفال في محافظة سلفيت في فلسطين، وزعت عليهن استبانة مكونة من أربعة مجالات بالإضافة إلى البيانات الديموغرافية للمشاركات. اعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي الكمي. أظهرت النتائج وجود مستوى مرتفع من «التحديات والسياسات التي تؤثر في التعليم» في رياض الأطفال في فلسطين من وجهة نظر المشاركات، وعدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا على الأداة ككل للتحديات والسياسات تعزى إلى المتغيرات (سنوات الخبرة، والمؤهل العلمي، والتخصص، والحالة الاجتماعية). بالإضافة إلى ذلك، أظهرت النتائج وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في الأداة ككل للسياسات في قطاع تعليم رياض الأطفال تعزى إلى متغير سنوات الخبرة لصالح المجموعة الأكثر خبرة (أي 16 سنة فأكثر). من أهم توصيات الدراسة ضرورة زيادة الوعي المجتمعي والأسري بأهمية رياض الأطفال وآليات التعامل مع الأطفال بعيدا عن العنف والاستغلال. The study aimed at identifying the challenges facing the kindergarten education sector and the policies used to address them. The study sample composed of (155) kindergarten teachers who work in the province of Salfeet in Palestine, the Sample were randomly selected from the study population. Also, a questionnaire consisting of four domains, in addition to demographic data, was distributed to the participants, The study relied on the quantitative descriptive analytical method. The results revealed that there is a high level of challenges and policies facing the kindergarten education sector in Palestine from the participants' viewpoint. Also, there were no statistically significant differences in the tool as a whole for the challenges and policies that are attributed to the variables (years of experience, academic qualification, specialization, and marital status). In addition, the results revealed that there were statistically significant differences in the tool as a whole for policies in the kindergarten education sector due to the variable years of experience in favour of the most experienced group (i.e., 16 years and over). One of the most important recommendations of study is the need to increase societal and family awareness of the kindergartens' importance and the mechanisms of dealing with children away from violence and exploitation.
