هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تعرف التوجهات الدافعية وعلاقتها بنمط الشخصية (الانبساطي - الانطوائي) لدى الطلبة الجامعيين المدمنين على لعبة ببجي (Player Unknown Battle Grounds- PUBG) في الأردن. وتكونت عينتها من (127) طالبا وطالبة اختيروا بالطريقة العشوائية من طلبة جامعات شمال الأردن من المدمنين على لعبة ببجي (PUBG) خلال العام الدراسي 2018-2019. وتمثلت أدواتها في مقياس التوجهات الدافعية، ومقياس نمط الشخصية (الانبساطي - الانطوائي). وأظهرت نتائجها أن الأوساط الحسابية للتوجهات الدافعية الخارجية لدى الطلبة الجامعيين المدمنين على لعبة ببجي (PUBG) جاءت بمستوى مرتفع، في حين جاءت التوجهات الدافعية الداخلية لديهم بمستوى متوسط. وبينت نتائجها عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين الأوساط الحسابية لكل من التوجهات الدافعية الداخلية والخارجية، ونمط الشخصية (الانبساطية - الانطوائية) لدى الطلبة تعزى إلى الجنس والكلية. كما أظهرت نتائجها أن النمط الانبساطي هو النمط السائد للشخصية لدى الطلبة الجامعيين المدمنين على لعبة ببجي (PUBG). وأشارت نتائجها إلى وجود علاقة ارتباطية موجبة دالة إحصائيا بين التوجهات الدافعية ونمط الشخصية (الانبساطية - الانطوائية)، باستثناء العلاقة بين التوجهات الدافعية الداخلية ونمط الشخصية الانطوائية. وفي ضوء هذه النتائج، أوصى الباحثان بضرورة عقد ندوات وورش إرشادية وتوعوية لتعريف الطلبة بمخاطر هذه اللعبة وانعكاساتها السلبية على الصحة النفسية والجسدية. The study aimed to recognize motivation orientations and their relationship with the pattern of personality (Diastolic-Introversion) among university students addicted to Player Unknown Battle Grounds Game (PUBG) in Jordan. The sample consists of (127) university students selected from northern Jordan universities who were addicted to PUBG during 2018-2019 academic year. Motivation orientations and pattern of personality (Diastolic-Introversion) scales were used, after verifying their validity and reliability. The results showed that the mean of extrinsic motivation orientations among addicted university students to (PUBG) was high, while its low regarding to intrinsic one. The results also showed no significant differences in both motivation orientations and pattern of personality (Diastolic-Introversion) among student due to gender and collage. The results also showed that the diastolic pattern is the predominant pattern of personality among university students addicted to PUBG. Moreover, the results showed a positive relationship between motivation orientations and pattern of personality (Diastolic Introversion). According to these findings, the researcher recommended the need to hold seminars and workshops to inform the students of the dangers of this game from the psychological and behavioral aspects.
