The study aims to detect and reveal the effect of an existential theory-based counselling program on increasing the level of self-compassion among adolescents. Indeed, a semi-experimental approach was adopted and applied to a study sample that consisted of (30) male and female tenth graders from the Latin Patriarchate School. In an attempt to achieve the study goals, the self-compassion scale was used. Students were distributed randomly to two groups: an experimental group in which the counselling program was applied to with an average of eight sessions per week, and a control group that no program was applied to. After the completion of the counselling program, the post-test approach was applied to the experimental group and the control group. The result showed that there are statistically significant differences at al level of (a=0.05) between the experimental group and control group in favors of experimental group. Two weeks after completion of the counselling program, post two tests were applied to the experimental group and control group. The results of the study demonstrated that the level of self-compassion among adolescents was moderate. In addition, the results showed that there were differences in favour of the experimental group to whom the counselling program was applied compared to the control group. Also, the results of the study demonstrated indicates that there are statistically significant differences between the scores of the experimental group in both the post-test and the post Two test monitoring of the scale of dimensions. According to these results, the researcher submitted set of recommendations. (Published abstract)
