هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى التعرف على نسبة انتشار إدمان الهواتف الذكية لدى طلاب الجامعة، ودراسة تأثير إدمان الهواتف الذكية على اضطراب الشخصية التجنبية واضطراب الحساسية الانفعالية، ودراسة الفروق بين الطلاب الذكور والطالبات الإناث في إدمان الهواتف الذكية، كما هدفت الدراسة إلى معرفة إمكانية التنبؤ بكل من اضطراب الشخصية التجنبية والحساسية الانفعالية من خلال إدمان الهواتف الذكية، تكونت عينة الدراسة من 144 طالبا وطالبة (41 ذكور، 103 إناث)، طبق عليهم مقياس إدمان الهواتف الذكية من إعداد كوون وآخرين وقام بترجمته وإعداده للعربية الباحث، ومقياس اضطراب الشخصية التجنبية إعداد البحيري، ومقياس الحساسية الانفعالية إعداد جوارينو، وقام بترجمته وإعداده للعربية الباحث، توصلت الدراسة إلى انتشار نسب مرتفعة من إدمان الهواتف الذكية لدى الطلاب عينة الدراسة، ووجود فروق دالة إحصائيا بين مدمني الهواتف الذكية وغير مدمنيها في كل من اضطراب الشخصية التجنبية والحساسية الانفعالية لصالح مدمني الهواتف الذكية، ولم توجد فروق دالة إحصائيا بين الذكور والإناث في إدمان الهواتف الذكية، كما توصلت الدراسة إلى إمكانية التنبؤ بكل من اضطراب الشخصية التجنبية والحساسية الانفعالية من خلال إدمان الهواتف الذكية. The current study aimed to identify the prevalence of smartphone addiction among university students, study the effect of smartphone addiction on avoidant personality disorder and emotional sensitivity disorder, and study the differences between male and female students in smartphone addiction, and the study also aimed to know the predictability of Avoidant personality disorder and emotional sensitivity through smartphone addiction, the study sample consisted of 144 male and female students (41 males, 103 females). It was used the smartphone addiction scale by Kwon and others, translated into Arabic by the researcher, the avoidant personality disorder scale by Al-Beheiri, and the emotional sensitivity scale by Guarino, translated into Arabic by the resercher. The study results indicated the prevalence of high rates of smartphone addiction among students, and the presence of statistically significant differences between smartphone addicts and non-addicts in both avoidance personality disorder and emotional sensitivity in favor of smartphone addicts, and there were no statistically significant differences between males and females in smartphone addiction, The study also found the possibility of predicting both avoidant personality disorder and emotional sensitivity through smartphone addiction.
