The study aimed to reveal the degree of social communication among children with autism spectrum disorders in preschools in Jordan. The sample of the study consisted of (110) children with autism spectrum disorder in preschool aged (3-6) years in Jordan, the sample was selected using purposive sample method, to achieve the objectives of the study, a social communication scale developed by the researcher, the scale was applied after obtaining proper coefficients of validity and reliability of the scale. Results showed that the degree of social communication in children with autism spectrum disorder in preschool in Jordan as a whole came with an (average) degree, where "non-verbal communication" was achieved with an average degree followed by "verbal communication". There no significant differences at the level of (α≤0.05) between the averages of individuals 'responses on dimensions attributable to the child's sex variable, furthermore, there are significant differences at (α≤0.05) between the averages of individuals' responses for verbal communication attributable to the child's age variable, and there are no significant differences at (α≤0.05) between the averages of individuals ' responses for (non-verbal communication) attributable to the child's age. It also shows that there are statistically significant differences between the averages of individuals ' estimates on the total grade of the tool. The differences came for verbal communication and the total grade of the tool between children of age groups (4 years) and children of age groups (5 years) and in favor of children of age (5 years) with a higher average, as well as the differences also came between children of age groups (4 years) and children of age groups (6 years) and in favor of children of age (6 years).
