The level of the availability of creative thinking skills in my language textbook for the second grade of primary school curriculum in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia :an analytical study [Article]
The study aimed to determine the level of availability of creative thinking skills in my language textbook for second grade of primary school in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the academic year 2022-2023 across its three parts. The descriptive approach depended on Analytical was followed through the content analysis questionnaire, which included (3) creative skills, fluency, flexibility, and originality. The results indicated varying levels of availability of creative thinking skills, Fluency skill had the highest frequency with (488) occurrences, accounting for (44%) of the total, Flexibility skill came next with (342) occurrences, representing (32%) of the total, Originality skill ranked third with (256) occurrences, making up (24%) of the total. The total frequency of the three skills in the textbook reached (1086) occurrences, distributed evenly among the three parts. The study recommended that those responsible for developing the textbook should include content with texts, exercises and activities that stimulate students to practice various creative thinking skills.
