The study aimed to identify the role of Professional Learning Communities in the development of knowledge economy skills among teachers in Kasbah Maan, in light of the variables: (gender, academic qualification, years of service) the study used the descriptive analytical approach, the study community consisted of (927) teachers, the study sample consisted of (176) teachers, selected randomly, and to achieve the objectives of the study a questionnaire was designed consisting of (18) paragraphs divided into three areas: technological skills from paragraph (1-6), from paragraph (7th- 12) the second area measures the skills of cooperative work, and from paragraph (13-18) the third area measures the skills of problem solving and decision making. The results of the study showed that the role of Professional Learning Communities in the development of knowledge economy skills among teachers came with a high degree, with an arithmetic average (3.69). The field of cooperative work received the highest rating and a high degree, while both the field of technological skills, the skill of problem solving and decision making received an average score. The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05≥α) estimates of the individuals of the study sample for the role of professional learning in the development of teachers ' knowledge economy skills according to a variable In light of the results, the researcher recommended holding courses and workshops for teachers to provide them with insight into the importance and benefits of learning communities. The study also recommended that the Ministry of education should continue working in professional learning communities in the development of knowledge economy skills, especially in the field of: (problem solving, decision-making, technological skills).
