The study aimed to reveal the impact of self and academic efficiency in recall skills of students of the upper basic stage in Rusaifa government schools. The sample of the study consisted of (174) female students of the seventh, eighth, ninth and tenth grades, by (43) female students, (43) students, (43) students, and (45) students, in the aforementioned grades respectively. Two scales were developed, the first is the academic self-efficacy scale, and the second is the recall skills scale. The validity and stability of the two scales have been verified, the first measure consisted of (32) items, distributed over four dimensions. The second scale consisted of (22) items which were distributed over four dimensions as well. The results of the study showed that the academic self-efficacy of female students was in average, and that their recall skills were in average as well. The results also showed a statistically significant correlation between academic self-efficacy and study skills among female students. In light of these outcomes, the study recommended the need to focus on the relationship between academic self-efficacy and recall skills, and to employ this relationship in improving the academic achievement of students of the upper basic stage.
