هدفت الدراسة تعرف مستوى الأمن الوظيفي لدى معلمي التعليم الخاص ومعلماته في محافظة اربد، والكشف عن مستوى الأداء الوظيفي لديهم من وجهة نظر المديرين والبحث في العلاقة بينهما. ولتحقيق هدف الدراسة، تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي الارتباطي فقد استخدمت استبانة الأمن الوظيفي والأداء الوظيفي والتي وزعت على عينة مكونة من (165) مديراً ومديرة اختيروا عشوائياً، وتم التحقق من صدق الأداتين وثباتهما باستخدام الطرق الإحصائية المناسبة. وأشارت النتائج إلى أن مستوى الأمن الوظيفي لدى معلمي المدارس الخاصة في الأردن كان مرتفعاً، كما بينت أن مستوى الأداء الوظيفي لدى المعلمين كان متوسطاً من وجهة نظر المديرين. وكشفت النتائج وجود علاقة ارتباطية موجبة وغير دالة إحصائياً بينَ الأمن الوظيفي والأداء الوظيفي لدى المعلمين. وفي ضوء النتائج، توصي الدراسة بوضع بعض آليات تقييم الأداء المبنية على مؤشرات واضحة لإعطاء صورة واضحة عن أداء المعلمين في المدارس الخاصة. The study aimed at identifying the levels of job security among private school teachers at Irbid governorate and to examine level of job performance among them from school principals point of view also to identify the relationship between job security and performance. To achieve the aim of the study, the descriptive analytical design was used as a job security and job performance questionnaires methodology distributed on (165) school principals. Validity and reliability for both instruments were obtained. The results of the study showed that job security level among private school teachers was high. It was found that job performance level was moderate. The result of the study indicated a positive, but insignificant, correlation between job security and job performance. In light of the results, the study recommended the need for developing some performance appraisal measures that are based on clear indicators able to reflect the true job performance level among private schools teachers.
