هدفت الدراسة تعرف درجة تطبيق مديري المدارس الثانوية الحكومية في دولة الكويت للريادة الإدارية في مدارسهم، وأثر متغيرات المركز الوظيفي، والجنس، وسنوات الخبرة في ذلك. استخدم المنهج الوصفي المسحي، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (301) موجهاً تربوياً ومراقباً، تم اختيارهم بالطريقة العشوائية، واستخدمت أداة تكونت من (32) فقرة، وتم التأكد من صدقها وثباتها. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى أن درجة تطبيق الريادة الإدارية في المدارس الثانوية بدولة الكويت من وجهة نظر الموجهين التربويين والمراقبين جاءت مرتفعة، أما ترتيب ممارسة مجالات الدراسة حسب متوسطاتها الحسابية، فقد جاءت على النحو الآتي: (المبادرة، المخاطرة، الإبداع، التفويض والتمكين). وأظهرت النتائج وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (α≤0.05) لاستجابات أفراد عينة الدِّراسة تعزى لمتغير سنوات الخبرة وجاءت الفروق لصالح (أكثر من 10 سنوات) على مجال (المخاطرة). كما أشارت النتائج إلى عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (α≤0.05) لاستجابات أفراد عينة الدِّراسة تعزى لمتغير الجنس والمركز الوظيفي. وفي ضوء النتائج التي تم التوصل إليها توصي الدراسة بعمل مجتمعات تعلم وتبادل زيارات بين مديري المدارس أصحاب الخبرات العالية مع أصحاب الخبرات القليلة. This study aimed at finding out the degree to which Public Secondary School Principals in the State of Kuwait apply Administrative Pioneering in their Schools, and the effect of job status, sex and years of experience variables in their schools. The descriptive – survey methodology was used. The study sample consisted of (301) subjects who were chosen randomly. A 32 items questionnaire was used to collect data. Its validity and reliability were assured. The findings showed that the degree to which public secondary school Principals in the State of Kuwait apply administrative pioneering in their schools was high. As for the order of practicing the fields of the study according to their means, they were as follows: initiative, the risk, creativity, delegation and empowerment. The findings also indicated that there were significant differences at (α ≤ 0.05) for the responses of the study sample subjects attributed to years of experience variables in favor of (More than 10 years) category. The results also indicated that there were no significant differences at (α ≤ 0.05) for the responses of the study sample subjects attributed to sex and job status. In light of the findings of the study, the researchers recommended the creation of learning societies and exchange visits between highly experienced school principals and those with little experience.
