This study aimed to expose the relationship between the school achievement of students of the eighth grade in Jordan, in mathematics and science, and their results in the (TIMSS) for 2015. The descriptive, correlational, analytical method was used, as the study sample consisted of all eighth-grade students in public and private schools, the international relief agency (UNRWA), and military culture, as their number reached (7865) male and female students. This study included comparing students’ school achievements in mathematics and science (2014/2015) with their scores in the international test (TIMSS-2015), where data were obtained from the Queen Rania Center for Information Technology and the National Center for Human Resources Development. To answer the study questions, (t-test), one-way ANOVA and simple regression analysis were used, where the results of simple linear regression analysis resulted in a positive, statistically significant correlation at the level (0.05) between the results of students in school achievement and the international test (TIMSS), the results also revealed that there were statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) in the results of students in the international test (TIMSS) in favor of females, and for the students of (UNRWA) school in terms of the educational authority.
