The stress level and its relationship with the new training needs for private basic schools principals in Amman in the light of converting to distance learning from their perspectives [Article]
This study aimed to identify the stress level and its relationship with the new training needs for private basic schools principals in Amman in the light of converting to distance learning from their Perspectives. To achieve the objectives of this study, the descriptive correlative approach was used, and two questionnaires were developed to collect data. The first one included measuring the level of stress, and the second one to measuring the new training needs, and the study sample consisted of (104) principals in private basic schools in Amman. the results showed that the level of stress among the principals of private basic schools in Amman, in the light of converting distance learning from their point of view was moderate, and their new training needs was high, and the results showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the estimates of the study sample members about the level of stress and the new training needs in light of converting to distance learning, they are attributed to the gender variable, and there are differences in the estimates according to the assessment of the academic qualification in favor of a Higher Diploma, and according to experience in favor of less than (10) years, and the results also showed the existence of a positive correlation with statistical significance between the stress level and new training needs. This study has come up with several recommendation, the most important of which are: holding training courses and providing principals with an indicative evidence that explains how to employ technology in distance learning.
