The study aimed to identify the life skills included in the English language books for the first three grades in Jordan, and to achieve this, the descriptive analytical approach was used. The study sample included English language textbooks for the first three grades, including the first and the second part. The validity of the tool components was examined, the life skill scale proved its reliability according to Holsti equation, and the coefficient ratio agreement was (95.4%). The results of the study showed that the life skills that should be included in the books of the study sample were in their entirety (30) sub- skills distributed into four main skills: mental skills, social skills, practical performance skills, and emotional skills. The results also indicated that the availability of life skills in the third-grade textbook came with a percentage of (61%), while the degree of their availability in the second-grade textbook came with a percentage of (20.5%), and in the first-grade textbooks with a percentage of (18.5%).
