The degree to which upper primary level teachers, possess the necessary digital skills in light of the digital age needs in view of the corona pandemic [Article]
This study aimed to identify the degree to which upper primary level teachers, possess the necessary digital skills in light of the digital age needs in view of the Corona pandemic and the impact of variables (gender, the type of school, and the interaction between them). The researcher used the survey descriptive approach to the study, and distributed questionnaires to collect the data, the questionnaire was consisting of (30) paragraphs, and after making sure of its validity and reliability. The questionnaires were distributed to (350) teachers from the upper primary level in the capital Amman. They were chosen by a random stratified method, the results of this study were the degree to which upper primary level teachers, possess the necessary digital skills was high, and there was a statistically significant difference in the degree to which teachers of the upper basic stage possess digital skills due to the gender variable in favor of females, and to the variable of the type of school and in favor of the private sector, and the presence of a statistically significant effect due to the interaction between gender and the type of school. The study reached several recommendations, the most important of which is paying attention to teacher training programs. (Published abstract)
