The aim of the research is to identify the teachers' application of educational strategies based on brain research in teaching students with intellectual disabilities from their point of view in Makkah city. The researchers used the descriptive survey approach, where a questionnaire was used as a tool to collect data. The study sample, who were chosen by the simple random method, consisted of (102) male and female teachers in public education schools with integrated intellectual disability programs and special education centers. The results of the study indicated that the level of teachers' application of educational strategies based on brain research in teaching students with intellectual disabilities was intermediate. The dimension of challenges of applying educational strategies based on brain research came first place with a high degree. The application dimension came in second place with a middle degree. The knowledge dimension came last with a low degree. The results showed that there were no statistically significant differences (α = 0.05) due to the effect of gender, academic qualification and years of experience in all dimensions and overall score. The researchers recommends conducting empirical research on the effectiveness of an existing program of educational strategies based on brain research and to ensure its effectiveness with students with intellectual disabilities.
