The effect of language communicative activities on developing expression skills for bachelor’s students in Jordanian universities via simultaneous learning platforms [Article]
This study investigated the effect of language communication activities on developing oral expression skills Bachelor’s students in Jordanian universities, via simultaneous learning platforms. This study sample consisted of (81) male and female students, who were intentionally chosen from two universities: The University of Jordan, and the Faculty of Educational Sciences and Arts, the acceptance rates of students at the bachelor's level are close between them. The sample was divided into two groups. Experimental, studies oral expression through practicing language communication activities via simultaneous learning platforms, it included (41) male and female students, a control group who studied oral expression in the usual strategy via simultaneous learning platforms included (40) students, for the purposes of study, the researcher prepared content for linguistic activities. To answer the study questions, the researcher prepared a test to measure the effect of language activities on developing oral expression skills, implemented via the Zoom platform. The results of the study showed the superiority of the experimental group over the control group in oral expression skills with statistically significant differences attributed to the effectiveness of language activities in teaching topics of oral expression.
