هدف البحث إلى التعرف على معرفة أثر ممارسة الإدارة بالتجوال على أداء مديري المدارس لمهامهم، وكذلك الوقوف على معوقات ممارستهم لها، وتحديد متطلبات تعزيز ممارستهم لها من وجهة نظر مشرفي الإدارة المدرسية بمنطقة الرياض التعليمية، واستخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي، وقام ببناء أداة البحث (الاستبانة) تم تطبيقها على جميع مشرفي الإدارة المدرسية بمنطقة الرياض التعليمية والذين بلغ عددهم الإجمالي (187) مشرفًا ومشرفًة، للعام الدراسي 1436-1437هـ، وتوصل الباحث إلى نتائج من أبرزها: أن ممارسة مدير المدرسة للإدارة بالتجوال يسهم بشكل إيجابي في اكتشاف الحقائق، وأيضًا لممارسته الإدارة بالتجوال تأثير إيجابي في تحسين الاتصال المدرسي وزيادة كفاءته، وأن لممارسة مدير المدرسة للإدارة بالتجوال تأثيرًا إيجابيًّا على زيادة التحفيز المادي والمعنوي لمنسوبي المدرسة، و أن لممارسة مدير المدرسة الإدارة بالتجوال تأثيرًا إيجابيًّا على تطوير علاقات العمل في البيئة المدرسية وتسهم في اكتشاف أفضل الممارسات في البيئة المدرسية، كما أن لهذه الممارسة تأثيرًا إيجابيًّا على التغذية الراجعة التي تتوفر لمدير المدرسة ويقوم بتوظيفها في العمل المدرسي، كما توصل الباحث إلى أن معظم أفراد عينة البحث يوافقون على عبارات محور معوقات ممارسة الإدارة بالتجوال في المدارس الحكومية بالمملكة العربية السعودية بدرجة (موافق إلى حد ما) بشكل عام. كما توصل الباحث إلى أن معظم أفراد عينة البحث يوافقون على عبارات محور متطلبات تعزيز ممارسة الإدارة بالتجوال بالمدارس الحكومية بمنطقة الرياض التعليمية بدرجة (موافق) وذلك بشكل عام. The research aims to identify the impact of management by walking around on the principals' performance of their duties, as well as to stand on the obstacles of exercising it, and determine what requirements for the promotion of exercising it from the standpoint of the of school administration supervisors in Riyadh educational region. The researcher used the descriptive method and has built a research tool (questionnaire) including three axes, with a total of fifty-six items, that has been applied to all school administration supervisors in Riyadh educational region. That sample reached in total number (187) supervisors, for the academic year 1436-1437h, and the researcher collected (153) questionnaires in response that are subject to statistical analysis. The researcher found that the practice of management by walking around with its five dimensions has a positive impact on the public school’s performance, and also positively influenced to improve communication and increase efficiency. That the practice of school managers of management by walking around positively affected by increased incentive and moral motivation for employees of the school. That the practice of school managers of management by walking around impacted positively on the development of employees relations, contribute to the discovery of best practices in the school environment, and that this practice is positive feedback that is available to the manager that he employs in the schoolwork. The researcher found most of the research sample agree on the axis of obstacles to the exercise of management by walking in public schools in Saudi Arabia moderately in general terms. The researcher also found that most of the research sample agree on the axis of requirements phrases that enhance the practice of management by walking around at public schools in Riyadh educational by the degree (agree) in general The researcher presented a number of recommendations and suggestions including the most important of the following, The school managers should exploit technology in their technical work and in school work in general, to automate the administrative work related to their duties.
