This study aimed to identify the training needs of physical education teachers in teaching physical education to students with disabilities in light of some variables. The study sample included (300) teachers of physical education in public and private schools in Irbid Governorate. To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive and analytical approach was used, where the researcher developed a questionnaire of training needs that consisted of (60) items, all of which were classified under four areas: (The cognitive dimension, the dimension of behavioral modification and classroom management, the dimension in support technology and educational aids, and the dimensions of the individual educational plan preparation and evaluation). The results of the study showed that the training needs of physical education teachers in teaching physical education to students with disabilities on the tool as a whole were high, as the fourth field of training needs related to the dimension in preparing the individual educational plan and evaluation came first, while the first area followed: training needs related to the dimension Knowledge, while the second field followed: training needs related to the dimension of behavior modification and classroom management, and the third field came in last place: training needs related to the dimension of support technology and educational means, to the existence of apparent differences in the averages according to the variables of specialization and scientific qualification in the total degree of training needs and their fields In favor of diploma and bachelor’s holders, and there are no statistically significant differences in the total degree of training needs according to the variable of specialization, the supervising sector and years of experience, and the presence of statistically significant differences in the first field of training needs (the knowledge dimension) according to the gender variable. One of the most important recommendations of the study is to pay attention to teacher preparation programs before and during service in relation to the necessary training needs. (Published abstract)
