هدفت هذه الدراسة التعرف إلى أثر استخدام برنامج محوسب مستند إلى برمجية (Visual Basic) على تحصيل طلبة مادة مبادئ الاتصال في كلية الإعلام في جامعة البتراء. واتبعت الدراسة المنهج شبه التجريبي؛ إذ تم اختيار (60) طالباً وطالبة قصدياً ليشكلوا أفراد الدراسة، وقد تم توزيع الطلبة عشوائياً الى مجموعتين ضابطة وتجريبية: المجموعة الضابطة درست باستخدام الطريقة الاعتيادية وتكونت من (30) طالباً وطالبة والمجموعة التجريبية درست باستخدام برنامج تعليمي محوسب مستند الى برمجية (Visual Basic) وتكونت من (30) طالباً وطالبة. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة، تم تطبيق اختبار تحصيل مكون من (25) فقرة؛ وقد تم استخراج دلالات الصدق والثبات له. وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين المتوسط الحسابي في تحصيل طلبة المجموعة التجريبية والمتوسط الحسابي في تحصيل طلبة المجموعة الضابطة في اختبار التحصيل البعدي يعزى إلى البرنامج التعليمي (Visual Basic) ولصالح المجموعة التجريبية. The study aims at investigating the effect of the use of a computer program based on (Visual Basic) on the achievement among the students of the communication principles subject in the faculty of mass communication at the university of Petra. The study used a quasi-experimental research design as research methodology. The study sample consisted of (60) students, were intentionally chosen. The students were randomly divided into two groups, each one consisting of (30) students. The control group which studied by using the conventional approach; and the experimental group which studied by using the computerized educational program. To achieve the objectives of the study, an achievement test was applied. The results showed that there were statistically significant differences between the meaning of the achievement test on the post-test attributed to the experimental group. (Published abstract)
