يستهدف البحث قياس مناصرة الذات لدى طلبة الجامعة، والتعرف على الفرق بين مستوى مناصرة الذات لدى طلبة الجامعة وفقا لمتغيري الجنس (ذكور - إناث) والتخصص (علمي - إنساني). أجرى البحث على طلبة كليات الجامعة المستنصرية (التربية والآداب والعلوم والهندسة) للدراسة الصباحية للعام الدراسي (2021-2022)، ولكلا الجنسين (ذكور - إناث) والتخصص (إنساني - علمي). لتحقيق أهداف البحث، قام الباحث بتعريب مقياس هاريس (Harris, 2009) لقياس مناصرة الذات من (55) فقرة والموزعة على وفق أبعاده الخمسة (الاستقلال والتحكم والخبرة والمعرفة والدافعية). وبعد التحقق من الخصائص السايكومترية للمقياس، حيث تم استخراج الصدق الظاهري وصدق البناء للمقياس. أما معامل الثبات، تم الاستدلال عليه وفقا لطريقة الاختبار - إعادة الاختبار وطريقة الاتساق الداخلي (معادلة ألفا كرونباخ). اقتصر البحث على عينة قوامها (400) طالب وطالبة من الدراسات الصباحية للعام الدراسي (2021-2022)، إذ تم اختيارهم بالطريقة العشوائية - الطبقية ذات التوزيع المتناسب. توصل البحث إلى أن طلبة الجامعة يتمتعون بمناصرة الذات، وعدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في مناصرة الذات وفق متغيري الجنس والتخصص. وعلى ضوء هذه النتائج واستكمالا للبحث، تم وضع عدد من التوصيات والمقترحات. The importance of research has been reflected in the importance of the topic "Self-advocacy of university students", since this topic has not been addressed by any local and Arab study of ordinary students (depending on the limits of the scholar's knowledge), as it is still a recent concept in psychological studies in local and Arab environments. Self-advocacy is concerned with individuals' beliefs and judgements that affect their ability to perform certain tasks and confronting potential failures and challenges in their environments, an individual who feels the same advocacy is expected to be more independent self-conscious, aware of its strengths, interests and needs, and taking greater responsibility for its future decisions and objectives to increase the chances of success, research aims to measure the self-advocacy of university students s self-advocacy level according to gender variables (malefemale) and specialization (scientific-humanitarian). The research was conducted on students at the University's colleges of Missionary (education, Arts, Science and Engineering) for the morning study of the academic year (2021-2022) for gender (male - female) and specialization (humanscientific). To achieve the research's objectives, the researcher calculated the Harris Scale (Harris,2009). to measure self-advocacy from 55 paragraphs distributed according to its five dimensions (Independence - Control - Experience - Knowledge - Motivation). After checking the scale's psychometric properties, where the apparent honesty and the construction sincerity of the scale were extracted, the stability coefficient was inferred according to the test method - retest and internal consistency method (Alfa Kronbach equation), and the search was limited to a sample of its strength (400) students from morning studies for the academic year (2021-2022) caste ", as they were selected in a random-caste manner of proportional distribution. Research has found that the university's students enjoy self-advocacy and that there are no statistically significant differences in self-advocacy according to gender and specialization. In the light of these findings and to complement the research, a number of recommendations and proposals have been developed. (Published abstract)
