هدف البحث التعرف إلى الشخصية الإدمانية لدى طلبة الجامعة، ودلالة الفروق الإحصائية في الشخصية الإدمانية تبعا لمتغير الجنس (ذكور- إناث). لتحقيق أهداف البحث، اعتمد الباحث على مقياس الشخصية الإدمانية ل (Sandi Sage 2013) بعد ترجمته وعلى وفق نظرية (Wets& Brown 2013). تم التحقق من الصدق الظاهري وصدق البناء للمقياس والتحقق من الثبات بطريقة إعادة الاختبار، إذ بلغ معامل الثبات (0.74) في حين بلغ معامل الثبات بطريقة ألفاكرو نباخ (0.79). وبعدها جرى تطبيق المقياس على عينة البحث الأساسية المكونة من (400) طالب وطالبة من طلبة جامعة ديالى، تم اختيارهم بالطريقة العشوائية ذات التوزيع المتناسب. وبعد معالجة البيانات إحصائيا، تبين أن الشخصية الإدمانية لدى طلبة الجامعة ضعيفة. وعدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في الشخصية الإدمانية وفقا للجنس، وفي ضوء هذه النتائج خرج البحث بعدد من التوصيات والمقترحات. The aim of the research is to identify the addictive personality of university students, and the significance of the statistical differences in the addictive personality according to the gender variable (males - females). The apparent validity and construction validity of the scale were verified, and the reliability was verified by re-testing, as the reliability coefficient was (0.74), while the stability coefficient by the Alpha Cro-Nbach method was (0.79), and then the scale was applied to the basic research sample consisting of (400) male and female students from Diyala University, were chosen in a random manner with a proportional distribution. And after processing the data statistically, it was found that the addictive personality among university students is weak and there are no statistically significant differences in the addictive personality according to gender, and in light of these results, the current research came out with a number of Recommendations and suggestions.
