هدف البحث التعرف على مستويات تجهيز المعلومات لدى طلبة المرحلة الثانوية في ظل جائحة كورونا وفق متغير النوع (ذكور- إناث) ومتغير التخصص (علمي - إنساني) وكذلك متغير الصف الدراسي (الأول - الثاني - الثالث) ومتغير التحصيل الدراسي (مرتفع - متوسط - منخفض). ولتحقيق أهداف البحث، تم تصميم مقياس مستويات تجهيز المعلومات (إعداد الباحثة)، وتم تحقق من الخصائص السيكومترية للمقياس. طبق المقياس على عينة عشوائية مكونة من (595) طالب/ طالبة من مدارس التعليم العام بمدينة مكة المكرمة للعام الدراسي (1441هـ/ 2020م). بعد جمع البيانات ومعالجتها إحصائيا، توصل البحث إلى النتائج التالية: عينة البحث تتمتع بمستويات تجهيز المعلومات متوسط، ولا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في مستويات تجهيز المعلومات بين الطلبة وفق متغير النوع والتخصص والصف الدراسي، بينما وجدت فروق دالة إحصائيا في متغير التحصيل الدراسي وكان اتجاه الفروق في مستويات تجهيز المعلومات لصالح الطلبة مرتفعي التحصيل الدراسي مقابل الطلبة منخفضي التحصيل، وأيضا كان اتجاه الفروق في مستويات تجهيز المعلومات لصالح الطلبة متوسطي التحصيل الدراسي مقابل الطلبة منخفضي التحصيل. أخيرا أوصت نتائج البحث بضرورة تنمية مستويات تجهيز المعلومات لدى طلبة المرحلة الثانوية من خلال برامج تعليمية تنمي لديهم مهارة استقبال المعلومات وكيفية معالجتها واستثمارها مما يسهم في تنشيط قدراتهم المعرفية. This research aims to identify information processing levels among high school students in light of the Corona pandemic according to gender variable (male - female), specialization variable (scientific - humanitarian), academic grade variable (first - second - third) and the academic achievement variable (high - medium - Low). To achieve research objectives, the researcher designed information processing levels scale. The psychometric properties of the scale were verified. The scale was applied to a random sample of 595 students from public education schools in Makkah, academic year 1441 AH / 2020. After collecting the data and processing them statistically, the research reached the following findings: The research sample has average levels of information processing. There are no statistically significant differences in the levels of information processing among students according to the variable of gender, specialization and grade. There are statistically significant differences in the academic achievement variable. The differences in the levels of information processing were in favor of students with high academic achievement against low achievement students. The differences in the levels of information processing were in favor of students of average academic achievement against students of low achievement. Finally, the findings of the research recommended the necessity of developing the levels of information processing of high school students through educational programs that develop the skill of receiving information and how to process and invest it, thus contributing to the revitalization of their cognitive abilities.
