استهدف البحث التعرف على علاقة الفقر ببعض المشكلات التربوية في المناطق الفقيرة بالمجتمع المصري وذلك من خلال الوقوف على مفهوم الفقر وأنواعه ومؤشراته وعلاقته ببعض القضايا الاجتماعية والتي منها علاقة الفقر بمشكلة البطالة، وعلاقة الفقر بمشكلة الأمية وأيضا علاقته بمفهوم العدالة الاجتماعية ومن ثم تحديد علاقة الفقر ببعض المشكلات التربوية التي توجد في المناطق الفقيرة مثل ظاهرة التسرب من التعليم وعمالة الأطفال وزواج القاصرات وأطفال الشوارع، وقد استخدم البحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي في تحقيق أهدافه، وتوصل البحث إلى مجموعة من المقترحات والتوصيات التي من الممكن أن تسهم في علاج بعض المشكلات التربوية لقاطني المناطق الفقيرة بالمجتمع المصري، من أهمها ضرورة توفير إحصائيات وبيانات على درجة كبيرة من الدقة عن الفقر والفقراء وينبغي أن يكون هناك اتفاق في المجتمع على تحديد من هم الفقراء وفئاتهم الفرعية وخصائصهم ومساكنهم بشكل واضح، والوصول إلى نسب ومؤشرات دقيقة حول منابع الأمية بالقرى الأكثر فقرا بمصر، والتنسيق بين وزارات التعليم والصحة والتضامن الاجتماعي والمؤسسات الأهلية بخصوص برامج دعم الفقراء، فضلا عن تشجيع المشاركة المجتمعية كأسلوب لجمع التبرعات اللازمة للمساعدة في تعليم التلاميذ الفقراء، وتوفير حياة كريمة للفئات الأكثر احتياجا من خلال برامج الفقراء وذلك من خلال قيام الدولة والمؤسسات الأهلية بتقديم دعم مالي للأسر الفقيرة التي لديها أفراد في سن التعليم ومساءلتها حال عدم ذهابهم للمدرسة. The research aimed to identify the relationship of poverty with some educational problems in the poor areas of the Egyptian society, by standing on the concept of poverty, its types, indicators, and its relationship to some social issues, including the relationship of poverty to the problem of unemployment, and the relationship of poverty to the problem of illiteracy, as well as its relationship to the concept of social justice, and then defining the relationship of poverty to some problems. The educational phenomena that exist in poor areas such as the phenomenon of dropout from education, child labor, underage marriage and street children, the research used the descriptive analytical approach in achieving its objectives, and the research reached a set of proposals and recommendations that could contribute to the treatment of some educational problems for residents of poor areas of society. The most important of which is the need to provide statistics and data with a high degree of accuracy on poverty and the poor, and there should be an agreement in society to define who the poor are, their sub-groups, their characteristics, and their dwellings clearly, and to reach accurate percentages and indicators about the sources of illiteracy in the poorest villages in Egypt, and coordination between the ministries of education, health, social solidarity, and civil institutions regarding programs to support the poor, as well as encouraging community participation as a method for collecting the necessary donations to help educate poor students, and provide a decent life for the most needy groups through programs for the poor, through the state and civil institutions providing financial support to poor families Which has individuals of education age and is held accountable if they do not go to school.
